Figured Wood
The Granadillo table top (below) is a fine example of figured wood. Note the overall structure of the growth
rings and then the perpendicular waves, swirls and curls that are also present. The quilted maple drawer fronts are
jewelry cabinet that I made for a client in the Twin Cities. The cherry legs on this hall table are another good example
of the highly figured wood that seperates my work from commercial furniture.
