This tall table is a standard height bar table at 42" high.  It was designed for a condominium with very tall ceilings and needed to project a sense of mass but maintain a light design at the same time.  I believe that this design achieves both of those goals.  The legs are 2 1/2" square stock and the aprons are 3" tall and a full 1 1/8" thick.  The top is 1 1/2 inches thick with a long beveled edge, perfect for resting your forearms on when sitting at the table.  Frank Klause designed a dining table with this beveled edge and this table is a take-off on hid design.
