This beautiful statue, River Spirit, was made by a friend of mine - Julie Ann Stage. Julie's client was
interested in commisioning a pedestal that would show off the sculpture and not detract from it. I drew up several sketches
and made a prototype of the carving, and we arrived at this final design. The carving represents water below the statue
and adds a nice visual contrast to the piece.
